Pumpkin Truffles

Leaves are starting to fall here in Ohio, which means tis’ the season for pumpkin-everything!!!

I am hosting a wine party this weekend  and I knew I had to include something pumpkin-flavored. I decided to make some pumpkin truffles! These are super moist, rich, and decadent, perfect for anyone with a big sweet tooth and a love for pumpkin.

Directions

In a food processor, grind up the Oreo’s until they form a smooth crumb mixture.

Then, add in the pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon. Once mixed, pour the crumb mixture into a mixing bowl.

Add  in the pumpkin puree, cream cheese, and melted white chocolate.

Use a mixing spoon to mix all the ingredients. The mixture gets tough so use some elbow grease! Note: Mix and kneed until you form a dough ball.

Roll into 1-inch balls and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

Once, the balls have been refrigerated, you may melt the white chocolate of your choice to dip the pumpkin balls in. I used orange colored candy chocolate to make the truffles look like pumpkins! 🙂

Once dipped, you may place in an air-tight container and refrigerate. I recommend making them a day or two in advanced so that all the flavors  absorb together!
