Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks), melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2 ½ cups flour
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Melt the butter and add to a medium-sized bowl. Beat in sugars.
- Beat in egg and vanilla until incorporated (about 15-30 seconds).
- Beat in dry flour mixture. If dough becomes tough, mix in later parts with a spatula.
- Roll into balls and place 9 on a 9×13 baking pan and bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Repeat until all cookies are made.
